Experience Highlights

I have twenty years of full-time law enforcement experience in San Bernardino County. I began my career with the Upland Police Department in 1960. From there I was transferred to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department in 1962. My last ten and a half years were spent with that Sheriff's Department as the Detective Captain in charge of the Central Detective Division.

As a police officer, deputy sheriff, and private investigator, I have been involved in over 600 murder investigations at all levels.

June 30, 2004-March 4, 2005

I was the Managing Investigator for the San Bernardino Public Defender's Office. I supervised 18 investigators, two investigators tech. II, and three supervisors. The duty of the Public Defender investigators is criminal defense. We assisted the public defense attorneys to prepare their cases for trial.

1980-2004 I was a private investigator, consultant, expert witness, business owner, and owned a private security company. During this time, I was also licensed as a private investigator in the states of California and Nevada.

1983-1988 I was the owner/operator of Arrowhead Agency Security Guard Service. I was responsible for training new employees, scheduling, and supervising the various supervisors and personnel.
